The Rhythm Kids^® curriculum guides children ages 4-8 toward developmentally appropriate music and movement activities where they can begin to take charge, lead others, and grow more musically creative, as they make up their own drumming patterns, invent new ways to play rhythm instruments, create movement ideas for songs and even take a drum solo!

Rhythm Kids^® follows through on the Music Together^® vision to help children complete the pathway of early childhood music development from birth through age eight. 

For children new to Rhythm Kids^®, tuition includes a Toca Colorsound djembe, an appropriately sized djembe drum for use in and out of class. If you already own a drum that would be appropriate for your child to transport to/from class and play at home, you can select the tuition rate for returning Rhythm Kids^® students (no drum needed). Please contact center director Catherine Denmead for guidance.

Rhythm Kids^® will be the highlight of your week as we sing, dance and drum together right in your own home! We will share in a rich music learning experience while having a much-needed outlet for creativity, movement and FUN the rhythmic patterns and songs of the current collection, named after a different animal each semester. There will be special activity practice videos, downloadable Rhythm Kids^® worksheets, access to online drum-play videos and other material, game ideas and more.
